Description

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking two Clinical Supervisors to provide clinical supervision and support in our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The CSU Clinical Supervisors are licensed therapists or licensed psychologists who oversee the daily operations of staff of the walk in crisis center. These Supervisors provide supervision to clinical staff, attend all meetings for program planning and implementation related to daily operations of the CSU and WIC, support the rest of the staff in their own roles and in providing care to clients, and addresses any needs in the CSU when on shift. The Supervisors are the direct report of the clinical manager and offsets supervision and other staff responsibilities.

Available Shifts. These positions are fully In-person/Onsite working Daytime shifts: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
  • Sunday through Wednesday
  • Wednesday through Saturday


  • $5,000 Sign On Bonus Available! *Not eligible for PRN candidates, internal employees, and re-hired employees within 90 days from separation.

    Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Paid in two installments: 50% on first paycheck, 50% on paycheck following 6-month anniversary.

    About the team.

    Our crisis services division is a part of a statewide crisis initiative that provides resources for mental health, substance-abuse and or emotional crisis health, information, and referrals. Our crisis services include a 24/7 walk-in crisis clinic that provides mental health assessments and referrals for individuals experiencing any self-defined crisis. We also operate a 24/7 16-bed adult crisis stabilization unit (CSU) that provides mental health treatment in the form of medication services, individual and group therapy, and 24-hour support. All employees who work in crisis services are expected to work on site with clients and are provided all necessary PPE.

    About you.

    The ideal candidate has leadership and supervisory experience in the mental health field, is well organized, has demonstrated experience in crisis management, de-escalation, withdrawal management, and is proficient in M1 hold procedures and regulations. These candidates should have a strong desire for connecting to and supervise staff, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be well organized and able to prioritize tasks, and be able to work well while around other clinical staff throughout the building. The candidates should also be willing to step in and help out with a variety of tasks on both of the crisis teams, and work well with a variety of interdisciplinary staff.

    Responsibilities:
    • Supervise components of clinical operations and set program policy and procedures for team.
    • Provide group and individual supervision and case conference meetings on a weekly basis.
    • Build and maintain cohesive, supportive, reflective, respectful relationships among staff.
    • Review all process data with staff and discuss areas for improvement, and respond to clinical areas of need with specific training for staff.

    • Supervise entry of all data by staff and ensure accuracy, and conduct chart reviews.
    • Build relationships and work collaboratively with local non-profit agencies, public social services, and state policy makers to enhance their understanding and utilization of services.
    • Maintain a small caseload determined by team capacity and need.
    • Support the Program Manager with tasks, as requested
    • Staff member will monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the clients care team.


    Qualifications

    Requirements:
    • Licensed mental health clinician with Masters or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
    • Clinical Licensure required: LP, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D, Psy.D
    • Minimum of five years experience working psychotherapeutically with clients, along with experience specific to the program being led preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience conducting supervision with Masters level clinicians preferred.
    • Knowledge of child, youth, and adult mental health interventions and diagnoses.
    • Significant experience working in office and community based settings.
    • Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.
    • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.


    Required Vaccinations and TB Test.

    AMHR has prioritized the health and safety of our clients and staff and requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, receive an annual influenza (flu) shot, and receive negative TB test results prior to their first day of hire. Proof of both vaccinations and negative TB test will be required upon your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may be requested for the COVID 19 vaccine, annual flu shot or TB test.

    Salary for this role. Wage is based on years of licensure and company equity. Shift differentials available for certain shifts.
    • Licensed Therapist: $34.49 - $47.19 per hour.
    • Licensed Psychologist: $47.19 - $56.27 per hour.


    Shift Differential Pay. The swing shift is from 3 pm to 11 pm. Employees will be paid shift differential pay as outlined below:
    • Day Weekend (Sat, Sun) $2.50/hour
    • Swing Weekday (Mon-Thurs) $2.75/hour
    • Swing Weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) $3.25/hour


    Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *rate depends on language requirements for the position and candidate's fluency.
    • Will receive scheduled earnings on a bi-weekly basis for all hours worked (excluding non-productive hours paid but not worked, e.g., paid time off, holiday, administrative, etc.) in an amount equivalent to 5% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), to a maximum amount of $3,000.00 per calendar year. *the annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full time equivalency (FTE).
